A
team of actors and film technicians direct a promotional
film utilising the gigantic figures of Nazca Pampas.
This becomes a hallucinating experience when they
should stay all night in the desert and the "Huaris"
- old habitants from the past - appear and cause
a clash of cultures.
The dialogues were built around a game of words
and sentences with a double meaning. The debates
between the group of the missing persons in the
Pampas and the Incas “Huaris" who appear
constantly around the group, are testament to
the confrontation between the unknown Incan past
and the Peruvian society’s present identity.
One Italian journalist who does research on “Nazca’s
lines", begins this story. It is never known
if it really is about the reality, about the fiction
or about a collective dream.
