The life and music of
the greatest composer of all times: For the first
time, a film crew penetrates a shantytown in search
of time past and of one of the characters of Felipe
Pinglo’s songs. An author persecuted by
the authorities during the 20’s and 30’s
for creating blasphemous music: One of his songs
said “loving is not a crime, because even
God loved”.
During the military government of Velazco Alvarado,
this film went before the censorship board ten
times, and ten times it was prohibited
