Pentafilms is the second company formed by Mister Jorge  Reyes. The first company BRUMA FILMS was created in 1974 in Lima,  Peru, inspired by historical subjects. Productions include “Avenue of the  Americas” (feature documentary on Salvador Allende in Chile), “Street  theatre” (about popular theater), a four part fiction Mini-Series: “The  Process” (about the leader who created the political party, winner of the  last elections in Peru), as well as “Nazca” (another four part fiction Mini-  Series about the mysterious lines made by the Incas in the Peruvian  pampas).
 
Other films include a puppet animation, a documentary on the  oldest singers in Peru, the dramatic feature “Balthazar” (about a mental  hospital) and “the Orozco Family” feature (about Peruvian Indians,  Chinese and Black slaves). This last film was Mr.Reyes’s first approach  with Asia and the beginning of future collaborations. 
 
Single owner of the company Bruma Films, M Reyes transfer all his works and rights of short-films, feature films, documentarys and two minis-series, towards the Pentafilms company,  transformed into owner with the full rights for sales,  distribution and diffusion  in all planet.

With the experience of more than 25 productions, Mr.Reyes, now  established in Paris and a French citizen since 1999 has created the  society SARL PENTAFILMS, dedicated to the distribution of films  already produced, and to the preparation of potential projects with  universal subjects. After extensive historical research in the French  national archives for the 10 past years ‘’THE MIST OF TIME’’, a  historical drama located in Shanghai and “SAUT VERS LA VIE” (Jump to Life ), a political drama on a personal experience of the author with others 750 refugees, in an embassy in Santiago, following the Coup d'etat of General Pinochet, and death of the democracy in Chile in 1973.  (see photographic file)

Founded by Jorge Reyes, joined by Marc Antona all Vice-President of the Union Producers AFPF, (see CV), Maritogni Pérez responsible for the administration, and Frederic Huette, young producer of the company, in charge for the development in the operational phase of films production (see CV). PENTAFILMS also has plans for lineup, TV dramas and  documentaries, and wants to offer, legal platform of production and  postproduction services in Paris.
